Ibiza offers nature lovers some spectacular scenery, such as the magical little rock island of Es Vedrá, which was revered by the hippies as a landing site for UFOs, or the Ses Salines nature reserve where salt has been extracted since the Phoenician times and flamingos create a picturesque scenery with an unworldly feeling. Rocky landscapes with sharp cliffs and strange shapes, romantic coves with beautiful sandy beaches and quiet valleys with their seductive Arabic gardens are bathed in a light that gives you a sense of the island's proximity to Africa, which is only 160 km away. However, unlike Africa there are no poisonous snakes or scorpions on Ibiza. When the scent of almond and orange blossom is not in the air, you can enjoy the clean smell of Mediterranean air. When you have had enough of the sun, you will find a shady spot in the stalactite cave of Cova de Can Marca.
