ECOLOGICAL AGROTOURISM

At Can Martí we use ecological farming methods based on the concepts of permaculture. The principle of sustainable development, that is, the use of natural renewable energy sources, forms the basis of our project. So, for example, we treat the wastewater and use it for watering and we turn organic waste into compost. In our 17 hectares we plant and pick vegetables such as beans, tomatoes and potatoes, fruit such as lemons, grapes and strawberries, but also saffron, almonds, olives and carob. We have lots of chickens that run around freely and supply us with fresh eggs every morning. Our little community also includes the donkeys "Titane" and "Sidi", "Ringo" the dog, and "Mitzi" the cat. The fertile land, fresh aromatic air and the Mediterranean flora offer our guests a breather from the hectic activity of daily life, bringing them into direct contact with nature.
